Michael Jackson

一星期前才買回他的"Off the Wall''。

引用友在 Facebook的status "hopes he enjoys dancing with his zombies"

CNN News (Abstract)

(CNN) -- Michael Jackson, the show-stopping singer whose best-selling albums -- including "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad" -- and electrifying stage presence made him one of the most popular artists of all time, died Thursday, CNN has confirmed.

He was 50.

He collapsed at his residence in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, California, about noon Pacific time, suffering cardiac arrest, according to brother Randy Jackson. He died at UCLA Medical Center.

Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said an autopsy would probably be done on the singer Friday, with results expected that afternoon.

"Michael Jackson made culture accept a person of color," the Rev. Al Sharpton said. "To say an 'icon' would only give these young people in Harlem a fraction of what he was. He was a historic figure that people will measure music and the industry by."

Jackson's blazing rise to stardom -- and later fall from grace -- is among the most startling of show business tales.

nyc

Have been here for 1 week. Seeing people from different countries here try really hard to strive for their living. Many Indians selling food in the park, musicians playing in the Subway stations, some Chinese painting portrait for people, some artists selling picture on the street, the flea market, the cheaters...  Many people come here for their dreams, and many dreams are buried.

These 2 months really lived in a mess. Not really conscious about what i am doing. Waste so much precious time and money here... Must to push myself harder.

It's 0504 in the morning now, the street is so noisy. Cannot sleep.

12/6 Rochester Jazz Festival, NY (Bill Frisell trio)

Arrived the town  from Newark at 19:20. Then go to Kilbourn Theatre with 3 lugguages.

Missed the 18:00 Conecert already. theTrio featuring Tony Scherr on bass and Kenny Wollesen on drums. Had to attended the 22:00 one. The conecert was served as 1st come 1st served basis. i queued outside the Hall at 20:40 and i was the 7th person in the queue.

i was able to sit at the first row. The sound of the hall is very good. i was able to hear all the instrument clearly. The music was simply excellent. They played some standards including blues and rhythm change, plus some original. Bill Frisell seems more bebop in this concert. He seems a very very shy person. Tony Scherr was really a badasssss. No wonder Peter said his brother is his favourite bassist.

Mission fail, could not take the signature of Bill for ar Chiu. No CD was sold outside the hall and they all disappear after the recital.

Talked with 2 audiences during the queue, and they are very nice to drive me back to the hostel. Save some money for the cab.

對他來說, the hardest way is the best way。

(Edited)

Quote from Uwants forum

''ba@tela.gov.hk

I still dun understand why people hate her so much. It is because they feel being cheated by her? They are just puerly ignorant.
Cynical is not a bad thing if they've got good reasons to support that.
